Christmas is coming! This past week Swansea has seen the arrival of Santa at the Christmas Parade & turning on the lights, as well as the opening of 2013 Winter Wonderland which will be in the city until January 5th 2014 I believe.
I absolutely love this time of year, and for a good few years I’ve been promising my cousin’s son, Dominic, that I’d take him ice skating at Winter Wonderland, but I haven’t. Until this year! I used to be pretty good on the ice in my younger days but I seem to have lost any ability to skate, as I spent most of my time on the ice clinging to the wall. Oh dear! I’m hopefully going to give it another go with a friend and her daughter before Christmas so let’s see how it goes the second time around! I also really want to go on that tall ride – anyone want to join me?
