Since I’m no longer bound to an office 5 days a week, I’ve promised myself to make the most of my new found freedom and get out there, do more and see more. With the weather as lovely as it was today, Harvey and I loaded up the car and headed down to Mumbles for a walk along the cliffs to Langland. I’ve never done this hike before, but it the views were breathtaking! Sadly it was a little too hot for Harvey to walk the whole way (try doing it in a fur coat and you won’t be up for it either!) so we made it an hour before going home, with a brief stop at the beach for a cool-down in the sea on the drive home.
This country is beautiful, and I feel like sometimes I take it for granted. I’ve travelled to many place, but there’s no place like home. Here’s to more summer expeditions!
