She’s from California, he’s from England, and Vanessa & Joel’s wedding was the perfect mixture of American and English touches to represent their love and bond. Their guests, many of whom had travelled thousands of miles for the celebrations, were easily impressed by their chosen venue of Mudford Manor in Somerset, set in the beautiful countryside with amazing views.
Vanessa wore an astonishing lace gown, teamed with a bouquet of hydrangeas – something I’ve not seen before but absolutely adore!
They chose an outdoor ceremony in the grounds of the main house, which was so unique and tranquil. After the ceremony, family and friends joined the newlyweds for a typical English tea of sandwiches and drinks, followed by lunch in the marquee. Their guests marvelled at the views of the surrounding countryside, and took part in some of the many lawn games the couple had set up for everyone to enjoy.
The evening was filled with laughter, more food, and salsa dancing on the dance floor, before Vanessa & Joel cut into their cake and made their way to their first dance.
An absolutely amazing day, with so many wonderful people! You can easily see how much work they put into making their wedding day special, unique and a representation of them.
